So we come up with many new variations of our most wanted, unique Wiener Schnitzel (kind of like a breaded fried steak) – we prepare it in various ways and so we constantly create new specials for you.
Every year in spring our “Schnitzel weeks” take place. You will always find new and interesting dishes on the menu.
11th of November is the day when our patron, Saint Martin, gets celebrated. The legend tells that he cut his coat into two parts and gave one part to a poor old man. Then he hid from the soldiers in a stable, but the geese revealed him. So we traditionally cook the “St. Martin´s goose” in November.
All year round we prepare deer from regional woods, as the owner is a passionate hunter. He hunts and butchers the meat himself, so we guarantee best quality. Especially autumn is the traditional time for deer. This season is also the perfect time for wine tastings, especially the “Blaufränkisch” type which is designated to the area.
Light salad dishes in summer, pumpkins in autumn and goose in November – we always cook seasonal and with fresh ingredients.
